I visited a couple of villages in Uttar Pradesh (Harpur & Mathura regions) and documented my findings on how we can help entrepreneurs in rural India. Though I took this video during Nov 12, 2012, some of the issues observed are still very relevant in rural India.
The customers seek reduced interest. The field staff seek more efficiency in day-to-day running of operation from more collaborative tools for group training to software that can anticipate next steps and handling power loss in a graceful way.
Understanding the problems and the context is so crucial to finding solutions.
